Crimson Rose

Crimson Rose

written & translated by: Agnieszka Kuśmierczuk

I am a crimson rose-
seemingly delicate and fragile
but hurt
I put a thorn into the soul
(without anesthesia)
I love with the intensity of red
in silk petals
nurtured with delicacy
(only for you)
I open my heart
bloom with subtle beauty-
don’t let me wither
please

Pąsowa Róża

written by: Agnieszka Kuśmierczuk

Bywam pąsową różą-
na pozór delikatną i kruchą
ale zraniona
wbijam się kolcem w duszę
(bez znieczulenia)
kocham z intensywnością czerwieni
w jedwabnych płatkach
pielęgnowana delikatnością
(tylko dla ciebie)
otwieram serce
rozkwitam subtelnym pięknem-
nie pozwól mi zwiędnąć
proszę
