Dreams Across the American Landscape

Built upon the land
In an effort to understand
All that is capable
From human hands,
And attempts to become free
From tyrannical power
Even while within
The darkest hour,
And notice how
The power of now
Could result in something real
Rather than surreal,
For it takes time to create,
As well as appreciate,
Anything absolutely wonderful,
Especially since anything beautiful
Involves a reflective perspective,
And a story that must be told
Could hopefully become
A sight to behold,
So let freedom spread near and far
Through the acceptance of others
For who they truly are,
And become the keys to a kingdom
Through the power of wisdom
