Enduring Love

written by: Rubab Abdullah

I tremble in romance,
But indomitably, courageously
Whether under thundering clouds
Or in the searing Sun
I seek your attention
As the bewitching moonlight suffuses the sky
I lay out my love for you.

In biting cold
I bask in the warmth of your love.
As the day declines,
The horizon darkens,
My warmth for you never ceases.

Amidst lighted candles
We treasure boundless memories –
Made of our little moments,
They'll never be prosaic and flame on forever.
