NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

Illustration description: A digital cartoon image of 2 children and a dog happily launching themselves toward their parents’ bed, one of them having already bounced off the periwinkle coloured covers. The parents are still tucked in, apparently having just been woken up by the sudden activity. The dog is brown with charcoal markings, and the children are dressed in red and green, respectively, and wearing Santa hats.

I am mostly a visual artist, but I like to create "found poetry", specifically daily haiku made from the statuses of my Facebook friends. It was my Mom who started this, and officially passed the responsibility onto me when she became too busy.
