Fell Out Of Time

I want to run scream and shout
When I’m surrounded by doubt
I can’t grasp the future or relive the past
I’m sailing on an hourglass with no mast
The bright stars overhead like a tent
I don’t look around at the present
I worry about the money I may never spend
It’s hard to feel if my life will ever transcend
I feel I’m past my prime
Falling out of time
