Making Memories

written by: Dan Leicht

For all the money we put into our homes
the best memories are always the adventures we take outside of it
it’s not our fault
our brains delete the repetition
our brains delete the repetition
you arrive to work and can’t remember for the life of you how you got there
sure, in the moment
you laughed a couple times at the morning talk show - but
what were they talking about? No Clue.
Life is about getting out of life
finding those moments outside of the norm
where you can explore another lifestyle
imagine going on a picnic everyday
you’d be sick of sandwiches and wine
no more red
or white
there’s no one or the other
there’s only the happy medium - but
finding that happy medium is the problem
it’s not easy
for everyone
for anyone
for me….
For all the money we put into our homes
the best memories should be the ones in it - and
sometimes that’s the case
someday that will be the case
