Melding Into You

Melding Into You

your generous lips a pathway to warmth, in which I submerge
sweet our exchange like a cinnamon roll dripping in soft yellow butter
deriving sensations, as I enter your mouth drowning in you
lost again in our movements, we are dripping like the candle by the bed
blue notes tiptoe on your torso; I am like liquid folding into your every crease
where are you, and where am I, for we do not know as our smells unite
climbing inside you, we are one as our heartbeat is a blue velvet petal
which floats into moments that are giving birth to that which has no name
my morning, evening, and in between, may your love for me never leave
my beautiful, green-eyed husband, without you, I could never breathe
