Only You!

All that’s strong and wise
All that’s pure and bright
I found them in you
The salt and the light!
I’d been looking all these years
Scarcely known where you’d be
Never know what I’d missed
All these years without thee.
You’re the soul to my body
The sap that runs my veins
The throb in my heart and voice
In happiness and in pain.
I wouldn’t swear my love
Not a banner for the winds
You are to me my anchor
You are to me my chains.
