Death in The Winds

Death in the wind
Death in the cloud
Swirls of dust
Swarms on the ground.
Flies about
Utter dismay
The staccato sounds
Of deathly array.
Grim and dark
Lurks fear in the shadow
Panic, despair
Stink in the marrow.
What a sad waste!
Is this what made man?
Of the Eden on earth
That breathed calm.
Suffused in horror
Lost in shame
No more a man
No one to blame!
