The Garden of Flies

The Garden of Flies

written by: Maciej Pająk (Matthew)

One Day
My jolly path turned into
The gloomy dark road
Below my feet
The black rainbow covered
The sky above my dreaming head
It happened at such an unexpected moment
While I was happily dancing
In the garden filled with butterflies

Flies emerged out of the blue
The aggressive creatures
They scared the butterflies
Their rustling wings shattered
The peace of my heart
No more silence when needed
No more singing when needed
No more needs when needed
No more, no more…

I had a desire at that moment
To speak to their Lord
The Lord of The Flies
And negotiate my freedom…
