The Gift

written by: Robbie Masso

I’m sorry.
I wish I could give you the gift you give me.

the gift of looking at someone

feeling someone

kissing someone

so flawlessly beautiful.

I’m sorry.
I wish I was Michelangelo’s David

a physical masterpiece

so that I could give those gifts to you,
like you give them to me.
