Our hearts have been beaten by fear
Chasing us back to our beds
As nations welcome an uninvited guest
Things fall apart shattering the lights
Death rains in all continents
Leaving traces of tears on our faces
Burning our hopes into ashes
As we vibe to the beat of anxiety
We greet with our elbows
Cause handshaking is forbidden
And sorrows knock on our hearts’ door
Every day and night
The atmosphere is no longer trustful
So we cage our mouths and nose;
We lock ourselves to our beds and pillows
Praying for a positive change
