Murderous Intention

Tragedy struck upon the alps
when Andreas Lubitz hatched the plan
to down the plane of German Wings
with murderous intention.
The why and reason is not known
he took one hundred fifty souls
he dashed their lives upon the rocks
with murderous intention.
His fiendish act so ill conceived
cannot be understood
except to say was carried out
with murderous intention.
The German Wings that carried them
oblivious to his design
to take them on their final flight
with murderous intention.
Unable to perceive the deed
the coward somehow did succeed
he took the hopes and dreams of these
with murderous intention.
The peaceful wintry alps of France
their final destination
their futures gone within eight minutes
with murderous intention.
For all that earned their angel wings
we bid you rest – eternal peace
yours futures taken much too soon
with murderous intention.
I write because I am:
Driven to distraction by the inequities of the society in which we live.
Motivated by cruelty, abuse, ignorance and indifference.
My intention: To poke, prod and provoke!
