Killing for the sake of killing

Tell me did you hit your target
Bullets fired in the dark
Did you really get them all
Did you hit your mark
Homes reduced to ash and rubble
All I see are children dead
Hospitals hit with such precision
In the name of God you said
Tell me about the news you see
Are the stories fair
Media companies have their own agenda
An industry where integrity is rare
Tell me about your good book
Explain those words to me
Forgiveness, understanding, peace, justice
Living in harmony
Don’t you want to live in peace
What is that going to take
Seeing with understanding eyes
