With The Soul Face To Face

written by: Nilavro Nill

Now I’m gliding through
Like the dead Phoenix
Nothing to be worried about
No more anxiety or planning

They have taken away the body
To the morgue tagged my name
On it, rituals are to be performed
According to the norms and oaths

It’s a great relief to be alone
With the soul face to face
In the dark chamber of
The confession box

Nothing to hide from
No more usual lies
Or counterfeit truths
To establish human glory
