In Spite Of…

There cannot be days
Darker than these…
There cannot be evenings more
Claustrophobic than these…
There cannot be nights more
Worrisome than these…
But then…
There is that Long Island
Neighbor leaving cooked
Food outside the doors of
A corona-affected mother.
Or,
There are the caremongers in
Bengaluru, who arrange
Supplies to the needy even
In the seat of power – Delhi.
Scaremongering had sapped
Our vitality…
Now, caremongering has made the world
A lovable place once again…
Despite
Corona havoc!
