Winter’s End

Winter’s End

written by: Jose A. Tovar

At Winter’s end
we’ll make amends
and Dawn
with her fingertips of rose
will light the heavens.
The Sun
with his unselfish warmth
will rise blissfully in our hearts:
just as our spirits will
when we meet again
on the highest mountain peak.
The world below,
our pain behind,
much hope above,
and endless love in front of us.
