  1. Where, do you hail from?
I was born in Portland Oregon and grew up in the land between the mountains and sea. A person could ski and surf in the same day. I lived in Chicago, Illinois before moving to my current home in San Antonio, TX.
  1. What is the greatest thing about the place you call home?

San Antonio is a wonderful mix of cultures and pays tribute to both its Mexican heritage (1600’s) and American settlers (invaders) that arrived in the early 1800’s. It is almost always summer here and the state government elected officials provide endless comedic entertainment.

  1. What turns you on creatively?
Great stimulating conversations with nearly everybody, over great coffee, listening to good poetry from other poets, and the current American political circus.
  1. What is your favorite word, and can you use it in a poetic sentence?

This is a very difficult question as I love words… currently though it might be two words  *delusional + thinking* as they define the current (political) zeitgeist of the USA.

  1. What is your pet peeve?

The takeover of American politics by the holier-than-though, often hypocritical, Evangelical Christians.

  1. What defines HR?

Admittedly , some might say stridently, narrow minded liberal, with a sense of humor, and compassion for the most vulnerable members of society.
