Yearning

Yearning

written by: Aida

It was summer, when our eyes met.
The love, blossomed and a promised, curve on an old tree.
We bid adieu in Autumn, exchanged tender kisses, adrift..the sunset obliged to meet the gloomy moon, to call it a day.

Still yearning for your love, tears begged, come back. A love note written on the sand,
washed all the memories we had.

My dream still yearning,
to see you again but, it’s hollow..
The warm touch is no longer there.
I sipped my wine to fill
that emptiness.

Alone in winter night, on my lonely bed, intoxicated,
my fingers playfully ran through every curve of my body, to quench that thirst.
